Embed the Tomcat web container, services are deployed as spring beans and run on Osgi platform, Engroup is a modular web server that developers can provide add-in application osgi bundles easily, also it helps Engroup administrator manage Engroup modules with little effort only.

You can grant to user group rights on the platform. These access rights correspond to your needs and can adjust with the evolution of your company.

Our mission is to concentrate on the both horizontal and vertical expansion of the product. Many more features will be added in Engroup versions that are suitable with our customer needs and the existing modules would have feature enhancements.

The Engroup community version has been designed to cover 80% of the typical requirements of each functional module that fit with small and medium-size companies. Later, the Engroup enterprise version will cover the lack features that an mid-size, large companies may interest or Engroup professional service will support user customize Engroup base on their specific needs.

One of important goal of Engroup is making Engroup is so easily use for all users with or without IT advanced skills. Instead of modifying many config files manually as many Java applications, Engroup administrator can customize system configuration data via Engroup GUI client. Engroup will help IT administrator on:

  • Installation: engroup server installation requires several steps via wizard. The basic system configuration such as database settings are done during installation.
  • System Configuration:  Engroup administrator could configure system variables such as mail, chat etc after installation via Engroup GUI client.
  • Upgrade: the later version of Engroup will make the upgrade installation is so simple like fresh installation with several tasks:
        1. Database upgrade from version x.x.x to y.y.y
        2. Engroup module bundles upgrade from version x.x.x to y.y.y
