Release Notes - eSoftHead Enterprise Groupware (Engroup) - Version 1.0
Introduction
------------------
Engroup is the enterprise groupware plus many features for business like HR, CRM. Engroup is the stability platform and scalability for mid-size business activities by utilizing the Java technology at server side and AIR/Flex at client side.
Features

In the first public version of Engroup, we provide the following features for Engroup platform at server side:
1. Back-end services for front-end modules:
- Dashboard:
+ Private Messages.
+ User Preference.
- Human Resource Management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Contact, Account, Campaign, Opportunity, Lead and Tasks.
- Chat: Support XMPP protocol with the features
+ Subscribe/unsubscribe users.
+ Offline Chat Message.
+ Update status often.
- Forum: Integrating JForum with SSO capacity with Engroup user database.
- Wiki: Integrating JSPWiki with SSO capacity with Engroup user database.
- Mail: Integrating ClarosInTouch with SSO capacity with Engroup user database.
- RSS.
- Todo.
- Administer:
+ Authentication and Authorization engroup user by multiple sources such as database and LDAP.
+ Manage role permission.
2. Bridge between Flex/AIR application at client side and server side by using AMF protocol with the help of Granite.
Changes in this release (4/16/2009)

General
1. Remove redudant libraries of third-party applications.
2. Add retry functions when retrieving remote contents.
3. Replace the library util for AIR by platform AIR.
4. Improve synchronzing users among database and LDAP better.
Bug fixes
1. Correct links in help menu.
2. Datagrid shows error when adding the new employee (HR Module).
3. Render todo item and its reminder is so bad (Todo Module).
4. Render RSS item is so bad (RSS Module).
5. Can not load modules/views some time (Platform).
Known bugs and issues
-----------------------------------
1. Can not re-install Engroup platform at the folder that already contains
the Engroup installation files.
2. Can not chatting over proxy.
