Release Notes - eSoftHead Enterprise Groupware (Engroup) - Version 1.5 M1

Introduction
-----------------
Engroup is the enterprise groupware plus many features for business like HR, CRM. Engroup is the stability platform and scalability for mid-size business activities by utilizing the Java technology at server side and AIR/Flex at client side.

Features
-------------

1. Add new module is Document Management module. It allows enterprise can maintain, update and distribute contents follow organizational process. In detail, it supports:
    * Personal/Group/Organizational storage.
    * Upload/Download single/multiple documents.
    * Search content.
    * Version content.
    * Tag resource.
    * Simple transaction view.

Technology updates

1. Enable REST support that allows third party application can get engroup data easily.
2. Apply enterprise architecture:
* Embed activemq, a java messaging server.
* Integrate with Spring Integration, a lightweight enterprise service bus.

General

1. Update latest Adobe TextLayout library.
2. Improve caching model by using ehcache.
3. Use thread pool to run long time tasks to decrease system responsive time.

Bug fixes

1. ENG-GEN-1: Improve layout of datagrid component.
2. ENG-GEN-2: Fix broken links in Help menu.
3. ENG-GEN-3: Display informative error message.
4. ENG-ADM-1: User name is cached while registering new user.
5. ENG-ADM-2: Improve layout of Engroup Admin module.
6. ENG-CRM-1: Fix validation of Opportunity page in CRM module.

Know bugs and issues
-------------------------------

1. Can not re-install Engroup platform at the folder that already contains the Engroup installation files.
2. Can not chatting over proxy.
