Introduction
-----------------
Engroup is the enterprise groupware developed by eSoftHead company (http://esofthead.com). Engroup
is the stability platform and scalability for mid-size business activities by utilizing the Java
technology at server side and AIR/Flex at client side.


New Features
--------------------


1. Many new features of project management are added. They are:

* Project dashboards display project status and information.

* Automatic project schedule base on task start date, end date, task duration and task
predecessors.

* Project messages and comments helps project members exchange information more effectively.

* Showing Gantt chart, exporting chart to image.

* Monitoring project status (risks, resources, problems) by charts.

* Importing, exporting from engroup project to Microsoft Project file and vice versa.


2. New connection module is added. It has:

* Private messages: user can compose and send private message to other engroup users.

* View user online/offline status.

3. New module user profile is added. It helps:

* User manages their personal information such as accounts, profile pictures.

1. Improving client response of business requests.

2. Showing busy status when task takes long time to complete.

3. Showing error messages corresponding with error status instead of generic message.

4. Supporting upload large volume data to engroup document system.

5. Increase heap size of osgi platform to 1024M.

6. Upgrading jackrabbit and lucence libraries to 1.6.0, 2.4.1 version respectively.

7. Upgrading pax-runner to 1.1.1 version.


Bug fixes

1. ENG-USER-1: Can not save user account when user already closed 'change password' state.

2. ENG-ECM-1: Infinite request load document files while document path is invalid.

3. ENG-ECM-2: Can not upload file has volume more than 1 MB.

 

4. ENG-ECM-3: Role permission of content is not effective.

5. ENG-PRJ-1: Displaying project problems, risks incorrectly.

6. ENG-PRJ-2: Displaying error message while deleting project problems, risks.

7. ENG-TODO-1: Todo tooltip is too large with corresponding message.



Know bugs and issues
------------------------------


1. Can not re-install Engroup platform at the folder that already contains the Engroup installation
files.
